St. Rita’s Now Offering Evisits to Patients

(August 8, 2016, Lima, OH) Mercy Health was recently named one of 2016s Most Wired Healthcare Systems. This was based on the results of the 18th Annual Health Cares Most Wired survey, released by the American Hospital Association (AHA) Health Forum.

The survey showed that technology plays an important role in patient care, and St. Ritas continues to take steps in this direction by offering additional ways to communicate with our doctors.

Beginning August 1, all Mercy Health family medicine physicians accept MyChart Evisits. These visits allow patients to communicate electronically with their doctors from the convenience of their office, home, workplace, etc.

Evisits give patients the opportunity to message their doctor questions or concerns regarding common ailments. This includes, but is not limited to a cold, cough, diarrhea, heartburn, back pain, a sinus issue or urinary problem. Patients will receive a response within 12 office hours. Based on how patients answer Evisit questions, a face-to-face visit with a healthcare provider may be required.

This program proves to be a step in providing our patients with the best service, while also improving efficiency of care.

To sign up for MyChart a secure, online medial record and communication system, and to access Evisits, please call our pre-service center at 419-996-5000 for more information or visit your local doctors office to receive an access code.
