Mercy Health — Urbana Hospital will officially open a newly renovated outpatient laboratory on May 11th, enhancing convenience and accessibility for patients across the community.

The new lab features two dedicated blood draw areas and an ADA-accessible restroom. It’s located just off the outpatient registration area, past the Emergency Department. The space overlooks the McAuley Memorial Courtyard and is just steps from registration, making check-in and access easier than ever.

Designed with patient comfort and efficiency in mind, the new outpatient lab offers closer proximity to both parking and registration, streamlining the visit experience and reducing travel within the hospital.

“We are grateful for this investment in our patients and our future,” said Regina Queen, Mercy Health — Urbana Hospital Lab Supervisor. “This new outpatient lab reflects our commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care in an environment that prioritizes ease and accessibility.”

This project was made possible through the generous support of the Mercy Memorial Hospital Association, which fully funded the renovation. To learn more about Mercy Health — Urbana Hospital and the services available, visit mercy.com.
