Nearly $1 million a day
In 2015, Mercy Health invested $321 million in community benefit into the communities where we provide care, most of it targeted to people who are poor and under-served. At the local level, Community Mercy HealthPartners invested $18.5 million in community benefit in Clark and Champaign counties.
Community Benefits are programs or activities that respond to identified community needs and meet at least one of these objectives:
- Improve access to healthcare services.
- Enhance the health of the community.
- Advance medical or healthcare knowledge.
- Relieve or reduce the burden of government or other community/charitable efforts.
