Paramedic and EMT Intern Program
- LACP’s EMT Intern Program offers a direct pathway into emergency medical services for individuals with a passion for helping others—no prior healthcare experience required. All you need is a high school diploma to begin. Interns are hired as full-time employees and receive paid training while attending classes, skills labs, and clinical rotations. Throughout the program, participants gain hands-on experience not only in emergency medical care, but also in ambulette caregiving and dispatch operations, building a strong, versatile foundation in EMS. Upon successful completion of all coursework and certifications, interns transition into full-time EMT positions with LACP, joining a team dedicated to serving the community with professionalism and compassion.
- LACP’s Paramedic Intern Program is designed for experienced EMS providers ready to advance their career to the next level. Applicants must hold an EMT-Basic certification with a minimum of two years of field experience. Interns are hired into full-time positions and receive paid training while completing paramedic classes, labs, and clinical rotations. Tuition for the program is fully covered, allowing participants to focus entirely on developing the advanced skills required for high-level emergency care.
