Pulmonary and Critical Care Specialist Joins Mercy Health Physicians

Mercy Health – Cincinnati, which provides advanced, quality, compassionate care in your neighborhood through its care network, announces that pulmonary and critical care specialist Sandeep Kapur, MD, joined Mercy Health Physicians.

 

 

Dr. Kapur attended medical school at University College of Medical Sciences & Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital in Delhi, India. He specialized in tuberculosis and respiratory diseases at Vallabhbhai Patel Chest Institute in Delhi. Dr. Kapur completed an internal medicine residency and fellowship in pulmonary and critical care at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York and a tuberculosis and respiratory disease residency at Vallabhbhai Patel Chest Institute. He is board certified in critical care medicine and pulmonary medicine and is board eligible in internal medicine.   

 

“Any health issue that impacts a person’s ability to breathe is understandably stressful,” said Dr. Kapur. “I look forward to working with my patients to help them breathe more easily and manage conditions such as asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and emphysema that affect their lungs.”
