Visitation at Lourdes

Lourdes recognizes the role families and visitors play in the healing process and provide a means for patients to receive visitors while hospitalized. Lourdes encourages appropriate visitation to provide care for the emotional and social needs of our patients. For this reason, Lourdes has adopted a patient-centered visitation policy. Our policy means we want our patients to have visitors as they feel necessary.

Please note to provide for the patient’s well-being and safety, department/unit specific visiting hours have been established for the following areas:

Rehab Unit

Monday through Friday – 4:30 p.m. - 8 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday – 11 a.m. - 8 p.m.

Behavioral Health Institute

Visiting hours for most inpatient rooms are seven days a week from 5:30-6:30p.m. These hours may vary slightly by room number. Only one visitor is allowed in at a time; the time may be split between 2 people. No children under age 14 allowed without special permission from the attending psychiatrist and must be approved by the charge nurse.

Our associates are sensitive to the needs of our patients and their visitors; exceptions to the guidelines may be made at the discretion of the patient’s caregivers.
Thank you for following our guidelines.  We hope that your visit is as beneficial for you as it is for the patient.
If you have questions or concerns about these guidelines or any other issues, please speak with the patient’s nurse.
