Visiting Guidelines

We know you love to have visitors and so do we. But too much company can be tiring and slow down your recovery. Our visiting hours have been designed with you in mind.

Visiting Hours: 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. and 4 p.m.-8 p.m. Please, no visitation during quiet hours, 2 p.m. - 4 p.m.

Visitation by Children: Children are permitted to visit but must be accompanied by an adult. In the Intensive and Coronary Care units, visitation by children must be approved by nursing staff.

Special visiting hours may apply. Please check with the nurses station for the visiting hours of the you wish to visit.

The State of Ohio requires appropriate dress, including shirts and shoes for all visitors.

Some of our patients are on special diets. We ask that visitors check with the nurse before bringing any food to a patient.

Dining

Mercy Memorial Hospital offers a full service cafeteria, located on the ground floor. We recommended visitors ask our staff for cafeteria hours as they are subject to change. Vending machines are available 24 hours a day in the cafeteria.

Gift Shop

Our Gift Box gift shop is located just inside the main entrance to the hospital. The gift shop offers a wide variety of reading materials, toiletries, novelties, gifts and snack items.

Tobacco Free Campus

We strongly believe as a healthcare provider, we hold a responsibility for promoting a safe and healthy environment for all those who visit or work at our hospital. Mercy Memorial Hospital is a tobacco-free campus. Tobacco-free means no tobacco products of any kind may be used or sold on the hospital property.
