Average Hours per Week

Fellows will spend 50 percent of their time in clinical practice. Percent of independent clinical practices is determined by the format of the fellowship – 12 months or 24 months.

This practice is outside the scope of the HALM fellowship, as the fellows are already fully trained in their respective clinical specialties. All services adhere to ACGME work hour limitations and the program administration takes steps to assure that all fellows have sufficient time to learn, rest and maintain acceptable personal time away.
