Application Timeline

  • October: Online application opens
  • December: Applications due by Dec. 15
  • January: Interviews begin
  • End of February: Offers extended
  • Mid-April: Credentialing process begins for selected applicant
  • July: Start of fellowship

Application Requirements

  • Required Minimum Education: MD or DO
  • Preferred Education:
    • The one-year fellowship option is encouraged for those with graduate-level management.
    • Degrees: MBA, MHA, MPH, MEd

Candidate Eligibility

To qualify for entry into ACGME-accredited fellowship programs, all required clinical education must be completed in one of the following types of residency programs:

  • ACGME-accredited program
  • AOA-approved program
  • ACGME International (ACGME-I) Advanced Specialty Accredited program
  • Residency program accredited by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC) or the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC) in Canada
