Faith-Based Community Nursing
The Faith-Based Community Nursing program provides health screenings, including blood pressure and bloodwork (CMP, LP, HgA1c, TSH, PSA) free of charge throughout Lorain County. Our nurses follow up with screening participants to provide information on their current health status and provide coaching for ways to improve overall health if needed. Additionally, we offer monthly nursing and social work CEUs, Lorain County school nutrition and stress management classes, chronic disease support groups, and free exercise classes with the goal of making a fundamental difference in the health of the community we serve!
