Meets Monday – Friday, 8 hours / day
September 1, 2026 – April 27, 2027
Weekly: 10 hours of clinical practice and 4 hours of group education
Tuition per unit: $1,000

Candidate Eligibility
CPE training is open to learners from diverse religious and spiritual backgrounds, socio-cultural identities and life experiences. This ACPE program does not discriminate against persons because of race, ethnicity, religious/spiritual tradition, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, age, or disability.
At all levels of training, CPE students need to sustain sufficient physical and emotional health to deliver spiritual care. Students must demonstrate the capacity to consistently establish and maintain relationships at significant levels and be open to personal and professional learning, change and growth. CPE students must demonstrate a capacity to endure moderate amounts of stress and chaos, which are expected features of the hospital context.
Intern Eligibility
Academic:
- Graduation from high school/ completion of a GED
- Training in related field (such as religious or theological studies, counseling, etc.) (preferred)
