Program Overview
Welcome to the Mercy Health Fairfield Family Medicine Residency Program. As a new, community-based residency, we offer a unique opportunity for residents to help shape a supportive and dynamic learning environment.
Our mission is to train compassionate, evidence-based physicians committed to preventative care, patient education, and community health. Residents will work closely with faculty and care teams in a newly developed continuity clinic, gaining hands-on experience in managing acute, chronic, and preventative conditions across all ages.
With rotations in inpatient medicine, OB, pediatrics, geriatrics, and a variety of electives, our curriculum blends full spectrum training with personalized mentorship and leadership opportunities. Weekly didactics, OMT labs, procedural workshops, and scholarly development are built into our structure to support lifelong learning.
Located at Mercy Health — Fairfield Hospital, a 211-bed facility in Butler County, our program is ideal for residents looking to make a meaningful impact while becoming confident, skilled family physicians.
