As soon as the ERAS post office opens, September

How many positions does your program have? (Prelim and Cat)

Two prelim and 10 categorical.

Are residents required to do research?

Yes, the goal over the five-year residency is to have a paper for publication and/or presentation.

When will I know if I am selected for an interview?

We will reach out in October to schedule for an interview date in November or December

What are the average number of case logs in the first and second years?

Average number of cases by second year/end of first year average 130; end of second year average 343.

What is the percent of residents that become general surgeons?

Last 10 years: 50 percent

What is the percent of residents that go on to fellowships?

Last 10 years: 50 percent
