Mercy Health - Fairfield Hospital Earns Bariatric Center of Excellence Accreditation

(CINCINNATI; January 7, 2014) – Mercy Health, which provides quality care with compassion in your neighborhood through its network of care, announces that the American Society for Metabolic & Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS) has renewed Mercy Health – Fairfield Hospital’s accreditation as a Bariatric Surgery Center of Excellence® (BSCOE) for another three years.

The ASMBS notes that BSCOE accreditation for Mercy Health – Fairfield Hospital formally acknowledges the hospital’s commitment to providing quality improvement and patient safety for bariatric surgery patients. As an accredited program, Fairfield Hospital has demonstrated that it meets the needs of bariatric surgery patients by providing multidisciplinary, high-quality, patient-centered care.
