PGY2 Critical Care Pharmacy Residency Program Overview
This program is a collaborative residency between Mercy Health St. Vincent Medical Center (MHSVMC) and the University of Findlay (UF). Throughout the year, residents will develop the skills necessary for specialized practice in the management of critically ill patients. Residents actively participate in multidisciplinary rounds providing drug therapy recommendations and drug information to members of the health care team, patients, and patients’ family members. Over the course of the program, residents will refine their skills in leadership, teaching, practice management, and patient care. Residents take an active role in teaching pharmacy students through didactic lectures and experiential training at UF as well as precepting pharmacy students and PGY-1 residents on clinical rotations at MHSVMC.
