Mercy Health Announces Changes in Car Entrance and Exit Points, Patient Entrance and Traffic Flow Pattern at The Jewish Hospital

Mercy Health, which provides advanced, quality, compassionate care in your neighborhood through its care network, announces changes in car entry and exit points, patient and visitor entrance and the traffic flow pattern at The Jewish Hospital to accommodate expansion work at the hospital.

Starting August 16, patients and visitors to the hospital traveling by car will access the hospital from a new main entrance at Kenwood Road and Happiness Way. Clear signage will guide visitors to reach the new hospital entrance and free valet-parking stand, both located near the garage on the western edge of the property. Mercy Health will have valet parking staff available from 6 a.m.-4 p.m. daily to assist patients and visitors.

Patients and visitors who wish to park in the garage and not use the valet parking service can enter on East Galbraith Road to reach the garage. There will be no access to valet parking from the East Galbraith Road entrance.

All patients and visitors to the hospital will exit the hospital from the single exit at East Galbraith Road. This exit has a stoplight for ease of traffic flow.

Patients and family going to the emergency department will enter the property at a separate emergency department entrance north of the main entrance on Kenwood Road. Mercy Health has reserved nearby parking for patients and visitors to the emergency department.

“Mercy Health thanks patients and visitors for their patience as we make adjustments during our expansion,” said Pat Davis-Hagens, Mercy Health Central Market Leader and The Jewish Hospital President. “Once our expansion is complete, The Jewish Hospital have new or upgraded space for critical care, intensive care, blood cancer services, emergency services, orthopaedics, cardiology, neuroscience and more, giving the people of Kenwood and surrounding areas a modern, technologically advanced hospital right in their neighborhood.”
