Mercy Health Appoints Matt Eversole Vice President of Strategic Affiliations

(CINCINNATI; February 26, 2014) – Mercy Health, which provides advanced, compassionate quality care in your neighborhood through its care network, announces that it has appointed Matt Eversole Vice President of Strategic Affiliations. Eversole assumed his new role on February 17.

Eversole has served in numerous positions with Mercy Health and Mercy Health’s parent organization Catholic Health Partners (CHP) since 1997. For the last three years, he was Chief Technology Officer for CHP, where he led the development of the five-year strategic technical plan. He also led the transition of The Jewish Hospital to Mercy Health’s IT platforms and oversaw the creation of CHP’s Service Operations Center. Prior to joining Mercy Health, Matt worked for Miller Brewing Company as a brewing systems analyst and at Quantum Chemical Company as an Associate Information Technology Analyst.

In his new role as Vice President of Strategic Affiliations, Eversole is responsible for implementing Mercy Health’s affiliation strategy with perimeter hospitals and Federally Qualified Health Centers. He will lead the integration of key hospital-based clinical service lines and holds responsibility for contractually-obligated operational performance, quality and regulatory compliance and strategic planning for these services.

Eversole received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Information Systems, from Cincinnati’s Xavier University and an Associates of Applied Science, Computer Information Technology, from the University of Cincinnati. He is a member of the College of Healthcare Information Management Executives, Health Information Management Systems Society and Beta Gamma Sigma, National Honor Society of Business Students, Charter Member of the Xavier Chapter.

Eversole lives in Fairfield Township with his wife Suzanne and their three children.
