Sleep Medicine Specialist Joins Mercy Health Physicians

(CINCINNATI; May 23, 2014) - Mercy Health, which provides advanced, compassionate, quality care in your neighborhood through its care network, announces that Sleep Medicine specialist Sanjiv P. Patel, MD, FAASM, FCCP, has joined Mercy Health Physicians.

Dr. Patel has over 12 years of experience as a specialist in Sleep Medicine. He earned his medical degree at Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine in Rootstown, Ohio and is board certified in Sleep Medicine, Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine and Critical Care Medicine. He completed his Residency in Internal Medicine at Summa Health System and his Fellowship in Pulmonary Medicine, Critical Care Medicine and Sleep Medicine at the University of Kentucky’s Chandler Medical Center. He has published a number of sleep-related research studies.

He is a published author, has spoken nationally and locally on sleep-related issues and disorders and served as a subject matter expert on radio and TV news.
