Mercy Health - Cincinnati, which provides advanced, quality, compassionate care in your neighborhood through its care network, announces that The Jewish Hospital - Mercy Health’s speaker series continues at the Mayerson JCC on Tuesday, January 10 with “Invest in Your Health,” a discussion on how to make wellness part of your everyday lifestyle. The Mayerson JCC is located at 8485 Ridge Road, Cincinnati 45236.
You probably know that making healthy lifestyle choices can prevent major diseases, a variety of health conditions and injuries. But did you know that exercise and a healthy diet can improve your mood, boost your energy, bolster your immunity, reduce stress and minimize the effects of aging on your body?
Join us for wine, other refreshments and appetizers and a relaxed and interactive talk about health and wellness. In this engaging discussion, you will gain a better understanding of how the simple decisions you make every day affect your health and how small steps can result in big rewards.
Mercy Health internal medicine physician Barry Brook, MD will lead the presentation and Q&A. The program begins at 5:30 p.m. with appetizers and wine, followed by the discussion with Dr. Brook, which runs from 6-7 p.m. The event is free but space is limited.
