Lourdes Hospital among 150 Great Places to Work in Healthcare

Cincinnati, OH (May 6, 2014) — Lourdes Hospital in Paducah, Ky., a Catholic Health Partners facility, has been named to Becker's Healthcare’s 150 Great Places to Work in Healthcare for 2014.

The list is a compilation of hospitals, health systems, ambulatory surgery centers, physician groups, vendors and other healthcare organizations that go above and beyond for their employees and are great places to work. To develop the list, the Becker's Healthcare editorial team conducted research, considered nominations and evaluated organizations based on their benefits, workplace culture, professional development opportunities and previous recognition for workplace excellence.

Lourdes has a medical staff of nearly 300 employed and community physicians practicing in more than 39 specialties.

“Our organization continues to recruit and retain the best healthcare team I have had the privilege to work beside in my 34 years of serving this ministry,” said Steven Grinnell, president & CEO of Lourdes. “While the design of our benefits and structure around professional development is something to be proud of, it is our workplace culture and celebration of excellence that makes this award so special. Very simply, our workplace culture is our team.”
