Mercy Health - Queen City HealthPlex Hosts Second Annual Dog Swim to Raise Money for Group that Provides Service Dogs

It's the dog days of summer and chances are you've got a hot dog. If so, the Mercy Health - Queen City HealthPlex has the event for you and your pup!

The Queen City HealthPlex invites all of Cincinnati's resident pooches and pooch owners to the second annual Dog Swim, which takes place on Thursday, August 25 from 7-8 p.m. at the HealthPlex, located at 3131 Queen City Avenue, Cincinnati, ZIP 45238. Dogs must be on leashes.

A $5 per family donation will help support Pawsibilities Unleashed, an organization that provides service dogs and service dog training to persons with disabilities and veterans to help improve their quality of life and be more independent and productive.

Last year, over 60 dogs had a splashing good time at the Dog Swim. The event takes place just before the HealthPlex completely drains the pool, scrubs it and refills it ensuring members have a clean pool to enjoy once the Dog Swim is done.
