Mercy Health Physicians - Cincinnati and Springfield Names Brian Colley Executive Director of Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine

(CINCINNATI; June 23, 2015) – Mercy Health, which provides advanced, quality, compassionate care in your neighborhood through its care network, announces that Mercy Health Physicians in Cincinnati has named Brian Colley Executive Director of Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine. Colley assumed the role in January 2015.

As the Executive Director of Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine, Colley will lead his team to provide excellent patient access to Mercy Health’s Dream Team of orthopaedic and Sports Medicine specialists, as well as ensure that the team provides top quality care efficiently.

Brian joined Mercy Health when Mercy Health launched its partnership with Wellington Orthopaedic & Sports Medicine in September 2013. At the time, he served as Director of Practice Management with responsibility for 36 physicians across 17 locations. His areas of responsibility included orthopaedic and sports medicine, spine care, pain medicine, community outreach, after hours clinics and durable medical equipment (DME). Brian expanded DME services to all Orthopaedic practices, grew our partnerships with area high schools and universities and opened an after-hours sports injury clinic serving communities in Butler County and northern Cincinnati.

“Brian’s past experience, accomplishments, education and expertise make him an ideal candidate to serve as our executive director of orthopaedic and sports medicine,” said Randy Curnow, MD, President, Mercy Health Physicians – Cincinnati and Springfield. “His promotion is just one more example of how talented team members can grow into new positions within Mercy Health.”

Brian holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Ohio Northern University in the dual majors of Sports Medicine and Health Education and two Masters’ degrees from the University of Cincinnati in Community Health Promotions and Program Administration and Health Administration.
