Mercy Health HealthPlexes Weight Loss Challenge Program Begins January 20

(CINCINNATI; January 3, 2014) – Mercy Health, which provides quality care with compassion in your neighborhood through its network of care, announces that its HealthPlexes in Anderson Township, Fairfield and Western Hills are hosting the Weight Loss Challenge to help you make good on your resolutions, be well and even win prizes!

The seven-week Weight Loss Challenge program runs from January 20 through March 8. In less than two months, participants will have both the tools they need to lose weight and the knowledge to keep it off.

There are four different program options available to help participants customize the Weight Loss Challenge to their needs and schedule. All options include pre- and post-program measurements and a free orientation session on Saturday, January 18 at 11 a.m. At orientation, participants will learn dynamic multi-joint warm ups and foam roller stretching techniques.

• Option one includes two group workouts per week and costs $99 for members and $199 for non-members.

• Option two includes three group workouts per week, nutrition guide and food log. The cost is $139 for members, $279 for non-members.

• Option three includes four group workouts per week, nutrition guide, food log and one eCoaching session per week. This option is only available to members. Cost is $199.

• Option four includes unlimited group workouts, nutrition guide, food log and unlimited eCoaching sessions. This option is only available to members. Cost is $299.

Group workouts are available several times a day and on weekends so that participants can find workouts that fit their schedule. Space is limited so choose from the options below and then call 513-942-PLEX (513-942-7539) to register for the Weight Loss Challenge: 

Mondays and Wednesdays
• 6:30 a.m.
• noon

Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays
• 6 a.m.
• 5:30 p.m.

Saturdays
• 8 a.m.
• 11 a.m.

Mercy Health will award prizes at the end of the challenge to those who have lost the most weight, lost the highest percentage of weight and lost the highest percentage of body fat.
